The TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India)Chairman, Nripendra Misra has written to DoT (Department of Telecommunications) Secretary on intra-circle roaming. The intra-circle roaming may strain existing companies’ spectrum. The service quality may suffer due to the intra-circle roaming. The onus of quality would be on company to which the intra-circle user belongs. The companies are bound by rollout obligation despite the intra-circle roaming.
